Soft Maple #1 Common Sap

Soft Maple #1 Common Sap is the high end of mid-grade lumber and is graded from the worst face for clear two face cuttings to maximize yields and is pulled specifically for sap content. Each board yield a minimum of 66-2/3% clear face cuttings with minimum cutting sizes of 3” x 3’ or 4” x 2’. Each Soft Maple #1 Common Sap board has 100% sapwood in the cuttings on the best face and is unselected on the reverse face. We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
