Hickory Superior
Hickory Superior is our highest yielding grade, yielding at a minimum 83-1/3% clear-face cuttings and 66-2/3% on the back. This grade is unselected for color. Minimum cutting sizes of 3ā x 7ā or 4ā x 5ā. Hickory Superior is ideal for applications requiring long, wide clear-face cuttings or multiple rips and chop.
We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
