Glacial Species & Grades

Red Oak Com Sel is graded for cabinets, furniture and panels. Best face minimum is 66-1/3% clear face for NHLA cuttings. Reverse face to grade sound or better. Minimum cutting size is 3” x 3’ or 4” x 2’. Light to medium stain is permitted on the back face. Trim backs are taken to maximize yield. 3” and wider by 7’ and longer. We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
