Oregon White Oak Special Frame is a structurally sound grade designed for flooring and upholstered and knock-down frame manufacturers. Oregon White Oak Special Frame will yield an assortment of long rails and shorter frame parts, which can be used for components and rustic appearance furniture and millwork. It is a 66-2/3% yield to structurally sound cuttings. The minimum cutting size is 3āx 2ā. The natural color difference between sap and heartwood is acceptable.
We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
