Soft Maple Superior Sap & Better
Soft Maple Superior Sap & Better is our highest yielding grade, pulled specifically for white color. This grade yields, at a minimum, 83-1/3% clear face cuttings and 66-2/3% on the back. Soft Maple Superior Sap & Better is a minimum of 100% sapwood in the cuttings on the best face and is unselected for color on the reverse face. Soft Maple Superior Sap & Better is ideal for applications requiring long, wide clear-face cuttings or multiple rips and chops. Minimum cutting sizes of 3” x 7’ or 4” x 5’.
We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
