Western Species & Grades

Rustic Alder is used for rustic appearance components for interior doors, millwork, and furniture frames. NWH Rustic Alder is graded to 83-1/3% yield to structurally sound cuttings on the best face with a minimum 2’ by full width cut. No open holes or dead knots to exceed 1”. We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
