Glacial Species & Grades

Cherry CAB Sappy grade is designed for red one face applications and yields are 66-2/3% clear face cuttings with minimum cutting sizes of 3” x 3’ or 4” x 2’. Each CAB Sappy board has an average of 70% heartwood on the best face and unselected for color on the reverse face. Excessive gum pockets and extreme color variation are allowed. We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
