Soft Maple Superior Sap & Better Curly
Soft Maple Superior Sap & Better Curly grade is designed and pulled specifically for white color and heavy figure. Each figured board has a minimum of 100% white in the cuttings yielding 83-1/3% using 3″ × 7′ and 4” x 5’ cuttings on the best face and averaging 70-80% white on the reverse face yielding a minimum of 66-2/3% clear face cuttings with minimum cutting sizes of 3” x 3’ or 4” x 2’. Each board requires a minimum of 80% figure in the cuttings on the best face.
We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
