Glacial Species & Grades

Walnut #2 Common is a combination of #2A and Rustic grades. For shorter cuttings with the best face yielding a minimum of 50% clear-face cuttings with sound backs. Natural characteristics inherent in the species are allowed and color is no defect. Good for rustic furniture and cabinetry applications. Minimum cutting size is 2” x 6′. We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
