Western Species & Grades

PC Maple #3 Shop 4/4 and 5/4 are appropriate for shorter frame components, core stock and finger joint blocks. PC Maple #3 Shop thick stock is appropriate for short turnings and sound frame parts. 33-1/3% structurally sound cuttings with a minimum cutting size of 3″ x 2′. We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
