Glacial Species & Grades

Cherry #2A Red is designed to yield shorter cuttings with the best face yielding a minimum of 50% clear-face cuttings with sound backs. Minimum cutting size is 3” x 2’. Each #2A Red board has a minimum of 90/50 Hartwood either face. Excessive gum pockets and extreme color variation are removed. We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
